Meet our Board

  • Pamela Whitney Walshe

    FOUNDER | EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Pamela founded The LoVVe Project in May 2020 in response to COVID-19 to provide fresh food support for families in need in
    South East Denver with a focus on Ellis Elementary, McMeen Elementary, and Place Bridge Academy. Pamela and her family moved to Denver in 2016. She has led and contributed to a number of local community initiatives in Virginia Village, notably the 2017 Krisana Park Home Tour and the installation of the modern mural on Mexico and Dahlia.

    In her spare time, she enjoys unwinding in the garden and taking long walks with her husband and beloved dogs in Denver's beautiful parks.

  • Gricelda "Gigi" Solis-Martinez

    BOARD MEMBER | TRANSLATOR AND CULTURAL ADVISOR

    Gigi is often the first friendly face greeting families at food distribution events and provides a critical line of communication for our Spanish speaking families. She also helps to guide our selection of foods and supplies to ensure they’re appropriate for the audience we serve.

    Gigi and her son Nathan live in the neighborhood and Nathan attends Merrill Middle School. She loves cooking and exploring Colorado with her family.

  • Adam Rossow, CPA

    BOARD TREASURER

    Adam is a licensed CPA and has been in public accounting since 2008. As treasurer Adam helps The LoVVe Project with financial aspects for grants, budgets, and operations.

    Adam has a loving wife and two boys. When he’s not working or being a family man he enjoys traveling, golf, baseball, and the outdoors.

  • Joel Vasquez

    PROGRAM OPERATIONS, ELLIS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

    Joel leads program operations at Ellis Elementary school where he an Office Manager. Joel qualifies and enrolls families in The LoVVe Project, sets up the free LoVVe Market, and ensures a positive and welcoming experience for all families receiving food support.
